These Terms & Conditions (Terms) apply to your use of bsforganic.com.au (the Site) and to every purchase of products from BSF Organic Farms. Please read them carefully. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

You means the person placing an order or using the Site.
2. These Terms
- These Terms form the agreement between you and us for the sale of our products.
- We may change these Terms at any time by publishing an updated version on the Site. The version in force at the time you place your order applies to that order.
- If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to place an order.
3. Our products
- We supply natural oyster shell grit for poultry in two grades — Coarse (approx. 1.6–5 mm) and Fine (approx. under 1.6 mm) — in 500 g, 1 kg and 5 kg packs, and in bulk by the metric tonne.
- Oyster shell is a natural product. Particle size ranges, colour, shape and appearance vary between batches, and stated sizes are approximate. Product photographs and illustrations on the Site are indicative only.
- We take care to describe our products accurately, but weights are nominal and subject to normal packing tolerances.
Product use. Oyster shell grit is a supplementary calcium source offered free-choice to poultry. It is not a complete feed, not a medicine, and not a veterinary product. Information on the Site (including feeding guidance) is general information only and is not veterinary advice. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to feed our products to your animals, and for seeking advice from a veterinarian or qualified adviser where appropriate.
4. Orders
- An order placed through the Site is an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed only when we accept your order and confirm it.
- We may decline or cancel an order (in whole or part) at our discretion — for example, if the product is unavailable, there has been a pricing or description error, we cannot deliver to your address, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
- You are responsible for making sure your order, delivery address and contact details are correct and complete before you submit them.
- We will send order confirmation and updates to the email address and/or mobile number you provide.
5. Prices & GST
- All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD).
- All prices include GST.
- Prices shown exclude postage unless stated otherwise. Postage is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
- We may change prices at any time, but the price shown when you place your order is the price for that order.
- If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even if the order has been confirmed.
6. Payment
- Payment is processed securely through eWAY, our third-party payment gateway. Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout.
- Card payments are handled by eWAY. We do not receive or store your full card details. Your use of eWAY is also subject to eWAY's own terms and privacy policy.
- Full payment must be received and cleared before we dispatch your order.
- You warrant that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide.
7. Delivery
- We deliver within Australia only. We do not currently ship internationally.
- Orders are sent via Australia Post Express Post. Postage is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the weight of your order.
- We aim to dispatch orders within 2–5 business days of cleared payment. Orders are dispatched from Anakie LPO, Anakie VIC 3213.
- Delivery timeframes shown are Australia Post's estimates, not guarantees. Once an order is lodged with Australia Post, delivery is in their hands and we are not responsible for delays, mis-delivery or loss in their network — though we will help you follow up a lost or delayed parcel.
- If an order is returned to us, or re-delivery is required, because the address you supplied was incorrect or incomplete, or the parcel was unclaimed, additional postage may be payable by you.
- Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we receive payment in full.
- Please inspect your order on arrival and tell us promptly if anything is damaged, missing or incorrect.
8. Bulk orders
- Bulk quantities (sold by the metric tonne) are not sold through the online checkout. They are quoted individually.
- Bulk pricing, freight, lead times and payment terms are set out in the written quote we give you, which forms part of the contract for that order. Where a quote conflicts with these Terms, the quote prevails for that order.
- Quotes are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise.
9. Returns & refunds
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
Damaged, faulty or incorrect items
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the product and packaging.
- Where a product is faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, we will arrange a replacement or refund, and we will cover reasonable return postage where a return is required.
Change of mind
- Because our products are a consumable feed product, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.
- This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which are set out above.
Refunds
- Approved refunds are made to the original payment method, usually within 10 business days of approval. Your bank may take additional time to show the funds.
10. Cancellations
- If you need to cancel or change an order, contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel it and refund you in full.
- Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled, but your rights under section 9 still apply.
11. Use of the Site
- You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and to browse and buy our products.
- You must not interfere with the Site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it in a way that could damage or disable it.
- We try to keep the Site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. The Site is provided on an "as is" basis.
12. Intellectual property
- All content on the Site — including our name, logo, text, product descriptions, photographs and illustrations — is owned by us or used under licence, and is protected by copyright and other laws.
- You must not copy, reproduce, republish or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
13. Privacy
- We collect personal information (such as your name, contact details and delivery address) so we can process and deliver your order and provide support.
- We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
- We share your details with third parties only as needed to fulfil your order — for example Australia Post (delivery) and eWAY (payment).
14. Liability
- Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, guarantee, warranty or other term implied or imposed by law (including the Australian Consumer Law) that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
- Subject to the above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee (other than a guarantee under sections 51 to 53 of the Australian Consumer Law) is limited, at our option, to replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, or refunding the price you paid.
- Subject to the above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, livestock, production or opportunity, however arising.
15. Events outside our control
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control — including supply shortages, extreme weather, fire, flood, disease outbreak, industrial action, carrier delays, or government action. We will let you know and, where a delay is substantial, you may cancel the affected order for a full refund.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts able to hear appeals from them.
